I love living on the UK's North East coast - the scenery is breathtaking and the weather here is often "bracing" - but the people are warm and welcoming. I grew up here and only moved 'home' a few years ago..... it really hasn't changed much!
When I told my friends some 8 years ago that I was going to work as a Pampered Chef Consultant they laughed - I used to burn water!
As a busy mum with two lively, fabulous children, the carer for my elderly dad and being self-employed, I need to be a master-juggler!
The ability to have the choice of when I work and when I have family time is of huge importance to me. By running my own business conducting in-home Cooking Shows and demonstrating a range of professional quality kitchen gadgets and tools, I get a decent balance.
Whether it's helping my kids learn new skills, or training new Consultants to succeed in their own business, it all seems to combine beautifully ...... and now I can cook too!
